electronic jamming

The deliberate radiation, re-radiation, or reflection of electromagnetic signals to degrade the enemy’s electronic sensor and to impair their use. Noise and deception jamming besides chaff are the two of the forms of electronic jamming, and electronic jamming is a form of electronic warfare. See electronic warfare.
